♠ Full Tilt Poker Launches Rush Poker
Full Tilt Poker has recently launched a new game called Rush Poker. Rush Poker is an exciting variation of the usual Texas Holdem and Omaha poker games. In rush poker, you’re allowed to fold your hand at any given time during the hand, even if it’s not your turn. For example, if you’re the small blind, you can press a button to fold even if it’s the turn to the player under the gun to talk. They call that new feature the Quick Fold. However, the true innovation is that upon folding your cards, you are immediately sent to another table where a new hand starts immediately.
So, every time you fold a hand, you are assigned to a new seat on a new table with new players, and, you guessed it, you are dealt new cards. You can play your hand, or use the quick fold button to fold your rags and to be place on another table, where you’ll get a new hand, and so forth. This allows you to play much more hands, as many as 4 times the usual number of hands that you would normally get to play on a regular table.
At the moment, you can play rush poker at Texas Holdem, Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo on real money tables. The limits range from $0.05/0.10 to $1/$2 and the tables are available both as six handed tables and full tables (9 players).
Playing rush poker is quite different even though it’s basically the same poker rules. The advantages are that you obviously get to play more hands. However, because, players get to play many more hands, some adapt a more tight strategy, while others are more aggressive and try to steal blinds or pots more frequently. Before sitting down on a rush poker table, you should make sure to adapt the rush poker strategy that will suit you best.
So far, the new game from Full Tilt has been extremely popular. You’ll find many players playing at all times of the day and at all the limits mentioned above.
